Resale value of more rare exterior color 911's
Looking for opinions on the price impact of older 911's with rare colors like orange, lime green and turquoise ?
Have seen a few factory original special order cars lately with very unique colors and all were asking 5k or more over what i felt was market value due to the colors.
Is this expected?

You should post this in the 911 air cooled section and perhaps over at Pelican. Personally I favor orange since it is my first Porsche memory.

It almost always does, even if it's ugly. Price bumps for uglier PTS colours don't seem to take effect until the vehicle is about 15 years old or more.

Plus, you really need to find someone that really wants the "different" color. Especially if trading in, dealers offer more for cars they know they can flip fast (normal colors like silver, red, black, etc)
