The North Carolina Museum of Art is having a display on "Porsche by Design" from Oct. 12, 2013 to Jan. 20, 2014. The will have more than 20 cars. Included is the handcrafted 1949 Type 356 Gmund coupe, which has an aluminum body. Also there is the 1965 Type 356C owned by Janis Joplin and painted in psychedelic colors. Also is a one of a kind design study, the Panamericana concept car presented to "Ferry" Prosche on his 80th birthday. You can find more about it at www.ncartmuseum.org/porsche."
