Is there a major difference between a 2006 and 2007 carrera s? Theres a 2006 without nav for a good price. Should I find one with nav? Should I just wait for a 2007 model? thanks.

There's a couple of 2006 for around $45 and the 2007 going for around $51k. Just that I've read that some 06s have engine issues?

I would be surprised to find that 2006 vs. 2007 was any different other than age. The 2005 spec 997.1 came with leftover 996-era motors and a slightly different 2-piece intake manifold. 2006-2008 should be the same across the board with respect to leftover 996 gen motors.

I would go and sit in both. Sometimes cars with 20K more miles that were taken better care of inside-wise seem to get overlooked.
