So, my dad is about to buy a 2012 911 (not sure which model) with a sticker price of $118K. The dealership in Los Angeles, CA, offered him a 5K discount, but I feel like that's very little, if I were buying any car, I'd get at least 10% off of the sticker price. That's about how much I got on my ML350 not long ago, but it did take some time and traveling.

Could someone familiar with 911 pricing voice in some comments, opinion, or suggestions regarding amount of discounts one get obtain?

Offer 10% below sticker and have him walk out if they don't take it. They will probably say wait.... as he is walking away.
