I just installed the Chatterbox in my Bell M2. I did not use the clips you reference. Some of my padding already had a space between it and the fiberglass helmet. I had to pull some away to be able to stuff the wires all the way around (note the high tech popsicle stick to help push wires between the padding and helmet). I like the main box/mike/earpieces being "integral" to my helmet. I have an extension cable and earpiece/mike for a student to put in their helmet. The extension cable makes it easy to separate them when we switch drivers.
