Post taking off tint

I bought a 951 that has its windows tinted. It looks great tinted but its going to be a cop magnet as it is.
How do I go about taking off the tint from the front windows?
Thanks!

It's on page 2 of the 911 forum. I don't have personal experience, but I hope it helps.

Another tip for avoiding cops: take the "Arrest me, Pig!" bumber sticker off the car.

Easy,

done this one a number of times,

assuiming it's that windowd tint "film"

if you can carefully get an edge and pull it it will come off albeit leaving a messing load of gum. Use Cellulose thinners, a lot of cotton clothes or towels, soak the screnn to soften then use one to clean and other to wipe it off.

IF it's the spray kind then use same technique as above the secret is

1) ONLY USE cellulose thinners
2) use a lot of cotton cloths one to soften and clean the other to wipe th gunk off.
3) change towels regyulalry !

it can be really time consuming and difficult but you can get it of

oh and watch out for the fumes
