what's the best way of finding some touch up paint for stone chips and such...Has it worked well to take your paint code into a paint shop or is it a trial and error thing??

Bruce,
I know Porsche makes touch-up paint in grand prix white, as I have a can, which I got from Performance Products (who has a 20% off sale through 12/5). They also have guards red, black, and polar silver. However, if there are 4, perhaps Porsche has more colors available. You might contact a Porsche dealer to find if Porsche has touch-up paint in your particular color.

Dear Vilhelm
Porsche have touch up paints for all colours. Availability via certain dealers may of course be limited. If you have the paint code please let me know and I will check the part number if I have it for the touch up paint.
Ciao,
Adrian

PS: Doing it through aftermarket sources unless Porsche repainting experienced with Porsche colours is very much a trial and error thing. More errors in the end.

Thanks for looking for me
The paint code is 35V 9 7 Marine Blue Metallic.
I've atempted to attach an image of the paint code tag from the car.

Speaking of paint. What are the pro's and con's of repainting in general? I have a '93 Carrera Cab C2 - white. I hate the color but it is in pretty good shape. Rear bumper needs to be cleaned up and the front spoiler air damn needs to be replaced (for the second time). Interior is the dark blue color. Options as I see it are to totally upgrade the car or sell it and get a newer air cooled Carrera.
Second question. I bought an upgraded set of Hella horns. Is this a do it your selfer job? I can't even find the horn location in the owners manual. They appear to be under or behind the front chin spoiler.
