This weekend I attended my first autocross event and it was the most fun I've had in quite some time.

Myself and some friends are interested in starting our own autocross that would be a little closer. What would we need to do?

Assuming we find a place that will rent a parking lot, what would be the legal implications we would need to worry about? (ie, How far will the waiver go?)
