weird cabrio problem...
There are times when the roof of my '97 cabrio will not respond when I press the button...doesn't appear to be "stuck" because I hear no sound at all. If I leave it unattended for a while (sometimes overnight) it then starts working. Without moving or touching anything, it eventually starts working and I haven't a clue???

Do a search on the 993 board as there is a thread there. I may be a microswitch / or remove area for parking brake. Next time, if you haven't already, try jiggling the parking brake.
