Post Connecticut Repair Shops

I will be moving to Danbury, CT in June and would like any suggestions on good independant Porsche repair shops for my '79 SC. Any comments/experiences would be helpful.
Thanks,
Pete

two places- both of which I have used-
Fairfield County Motorsports, fairfield, ct 256-9291 Don Vidoli- a low key friendly shop, street, DE and race cars. Very helpful owners.

Speedsport Tuning, norwalk, Ct- 847-9339 Spenser ***. Great on suspensions, a lot of race cars. Busy shop and not as good a "bedside manner" as Fairfield, but more inhouse capability including a dyno.

Pete,

The best and closest person to take your SC to is Dan Jacobs, who is in Oxford about 20 minutes from Danbury, east towards Hartford. You can see his shop at http://www.hairydoggrrrage.com/ He and his staff know SC's inside out.

Pete, I'm partial, to Dan Jacobs, he's my "wrench" and the closest as Bill mentioned. I've never felt more comfortable w/ the service/advise of his operation, the other Folks are great too. Now he's even hauling my 964 around this Track season! Beaver Run here we come!
Anyone else going for 3 for the price of 2 event @ end of the month?
Welcome
Bill

Agree, both Dan Jacobs and Fairfield Motorsports are excellent. Suggest calling or visiting them direcly and you can decide.

Thanks for all your suggestions guys. I'll look forward to meeting up with you all at some events once I get settled in late June.
