I don't think they know that the "hood" and engine are in the rear, but I would imagine that there are radiators in the front.

Awesome picture. I think there's some sort of cooling in front as well.

Yeap, the front grill on the 01,02 cups houses the front radiator. That was one mod Porsche did from the 00 cup.
