Good Mechanic in Philadelphia Center City: Reds & Sons
If you live in Philadelphia Center City and would like a good Porsche mechanic, I'd recommend Reds and Sons at 13th and Callowhill.
I bought a 1983 944 that needed a lot of work: motor mounts, front and rear wheel bearings, parking brake shoes, wiper switch assembly, turn signal relay, tires, and lots of small items. Reds did all the work competently, courteously, and on time. They know a lot about Porsches and other European cars. Prices were reasonable. Gus kept in touch by phone as the repairs were being done.
The location is very convenient for those living or working in the city: near Septa stations and the Vine Street Expressway.
