Driving shoes?
Does anyone have a preference in "driving shoes", and specifically, any thoughts on the Porsche Design line by Adidas??
I find that the accelerator and brake pedals are too close together for regular cross-trainers, and so I've been wearing pumas while driving, because they're more form-fitting.
That is, until I bought these on ebay. They have a thinner sole than the pumas, and I like the style.

I have a pair of Piloti Prototipos which I bought when I went to a racing school 2 years ago. They are comfortable enough and stable enough to wear everyday as well.

+1 on the Piloti's....while I have not driven in them yet (just got my first pair a few months back..already have ordered a few more) they are VERY comfortable. I have been wearing mine around the house to break them in for the upcoming DE season...they are mullholand II's and I love them.
I also have a pair of simpson high-top racing boots...they are nice but nowhere near as comfortable.

I don't have any Pilotis yet, but have heard good things similar to previous posters. This place has a great deal on them right now. Usually around $90, on sale for $27.

Wow, thats a great price. Is there any major sizing difference between these and your standard cross-trainer? I'm usually a 10.5, but in Nike's for example, I'm an 11.
