Alarm Clocks?

Love my Boston Acoustics Receptor
A couple of years ago, I purchased a Boston Acoustics "Recepter" clock radio and have been very pleased with it. Here is a review:

I purchased it mainly because I wanted a radio that could pull in distant AM radio stations at night and this one certainly does it well. It sounds great too and it is pretty small.
As I am writing this, it's funny...over the past year, my iPhone has basically replaced my clock radio. I use it to listen to streaming radio at night (from all around the world) and its alarm wakes me up in the morning each day. Now that I think about it, I hardly every use the clock radio any more, except for listening to stations that are not online.

Some people like 'em, some don't. But I do have one of the Bose you see advertised everywhere. Just radio, dual alarms...no built-in CD...if I want to listen to my own selection of tunes, I just use my iPod and its FM transmitter.
But I personally like the sound and after a dozen years or so, it still works like a champ!
