Good Afternoon Team,
I must start off by thanking each and everyone one that has participated in the test marketing of my song “7”. As of this afternoon, 10/22/2008 at 1 PM (EST) “7” has been listened to over 700 times in just over three weeks!
Unfortunately, Clear Channel Communication will not give me a hard number on the amount of online plays within a given time frame that they are looking for a song to receive air time. However, I am extremely encouraged by your well wishes and the outpouring of support
Thanks everyone for your help and continued listening. Your efforts have raised interest with Clef Payne, the executive producer of Miami Critic, who is in contact with me and is considering having me on his online broadcast. Each and every journey starts with the first small step and you have been “instrumental” (pardon the pun) in helping along the way. Thank-you again and may God Bless You.

Again, I want to thank everyone for all of your support. Without it we could never have come so far. I have some statistical evidence on how well we’re doing compared to our competition. As of Monday afternoon, 10/27/08, at 4:30 PM EST, there are 4656 entries in the Adult Unsigned Artists category (a total of 47 pages). You took “7” to the top of page 3 to number 206. Moreover, you have accomplished this in just under one month. Congratulations.

Thanks everyone. This is not a time to double clutch to slow down. Rather, let’s keep our foot deep on the throttle not caring if the doors rattle their way loose to fly off and forces the competition off the chart. We can do it.

I want to extend my deep felt gratitude for everyone’s help, support and positive feedback. Frankly, all the competition has seen of us so far is the settling of our dust as we are passing them. As for 11/6/2008, at 8:30 PM EST, you’ve placed “7” to number 188 out of 4842 entities in the Adult Unsigned Artist category. We’ve left the starting grid with the competition wiping our rubber out of their eyes.

We’ve gone from the top of page 3 to the bottom of page 2 and we’re still accelerating hard. The competition ahead of us is intense. However, we all know what that lower right hand side floor pedal is for.

Again, thanks to all of you lead foot listeners that helped “7” smoke up to where it is today. At first glance, it doesn’t look like we’ve moved that far since our last update. However, I beg to differ. As of 11/25/2008. at 8:15 PM (EST), out of 4912 accepted entries you’ve listened to “7” 1175 times and rocketed her to number 178. In addition, keep in mind. that we are relative new comers!

The competition up ahead is huddled in tight, seemingly leaving little if any passing room. Number 100 was listened to more than 4,000 times and the current number one was listened to better than 2,374,914 times (Yes, it got air time.) Are those numbers large – yes. However, the race isn’t over until the fat lady sings and she is so far behind us now that no one is going to hear her anyway.
We’re the ones to watch as we are all over track holding the hammer down. Thanks again for your unwavering support.

I am sorry that I haven’t kept everyone informed about what’s been happening. Unfortunately, I joined the ranks of the unemployed. This drastic change has taken the wind out of my sail. Although the immediate prospects for us look bleak, His Hand is on all of us and He is able. While my professional career has been splattered in the corner somewhere, stepped in and transported, musically things are looking up.
On 1/25/09, DJ James Octoon,, on UCLA radio show (I’ am In A Band”) played “7” The show is between the hours of 8-10 PM (Pacific). This Sunday if you are on the West Coast and have the time between the hours of 8- 8:30 please request “7” again ((310-825-9999) or AIM BrunRadio).
Richard Kolp at tds.net (they provides several services including telephone, internet, digital TV and has 25 web radio stations) placed ‘7” and “All I Want Is” in his company’s radio stations line-up.
Floria “Flo” Overton, who has two shows (Platinum Mornings and Underworld Radio) is going to use “7” for her voice over advertisements
Pat Darrah,(“Vision by Darrah”) in his Secret Confessions Show has also placed “7” in his line up.
The crème de la crème is that now when you Google my name and please do (Edward Wainwright) the second entity is my Fan Club put together by “My Stage.” Please join, listen and rate ‘7” In the month of February it will be in a head’s up battle in the “Instrumental Song” section.
While I haven’t received a dime from any of this, I want to thank each and everyone. You created the buzz. While racing up the Love 94 charts from dead last to 155, the only thing that got around us and passed was Christmas and New Years. Thanks everyone for your continued support.

I like progressive jazz and think “7” is a great song. Maybe for your next song go with a bit more funk/bass and see how it feels.
