Default towing vehicle

I am picking up a new racecar and trailer in Chicago and I need to trailer it to Charlotte, NC. I can't seem to find anyone who will rent a vehicle that allows towing. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Can't you tow behind a U-haul truck?

U-haul

I have read that some have rented Van's truck etc from major rental co.s that happen to come with classIII hitches.

I would be if you use Uhaul you will have to rent both the truck and the car hauler.

You might consider a transport service. I used Autobahn Transport about a year ago to move from North Carolina to Illinois, cost me about $1500 to move two cars (Porsche and Jeep Wrangler). They were pretty good. No affiliation etc etc.

Did you find your tow vehicle?

While this post is only a month late, I've access to a F-250 7.3L PSD with the full tow package.
