Default Paint Finish

I'm a newbie, having just purchased a Guards Red 02 986. Interested in best products or methods of maintaining the finish. Owners manual makes referemnce to paint preservative? Any comments would be appreciated.

Try the CONCOURS & CAR CARE thread on this site. You'll find alot of information there. Good luck.

VGM911 is absolutely correct. Anthony, Moe and Phil can definitely answer any question you have about car care. See CONCOURS under the Perf. & Comp. category.

Congrats on your Boxster. Products to care for your car really depend on the look you're after, the time you want to devote, and $$. The simplest first step is to wash, clay, polish, and wax. This will give your paint a tremndous difference. You can then build your war chest to include interior products, tire and wheel care, etc. Hope this helps. PM me if you want more info.
