Ferrari F40
Does anyone know of any individuals selling a Ferrari F40 here in the US?
Preferably 1991/1992.
There are several in Europe, but with emissions and the exchange rate it just doesn't make sense. I heard there was one for sale on the east coast, but I can't track it down. Also, there is some clown in LA who thinks his is worth $615K (1990), but in 91/92 there were some upgrades that make it a more favorable car.

Check www.joesackey.com, he is a broker that knows of 2 or 3 for sale.
Also check silicon Valley auto group, they had a 13,000 mile car for 495k and a 400 mile 1992 for 795k.
also check the f40 section of ferrarichat.com...there is a guy who i selling a "set"....enzo, 288gto, f40 and f50 as a package !
Prices on F40's are heading north. what seems a lot now will look like a bargain 1 yr from now. There is not a lot of difference between '92 and other years. Mine is a '92, and admittedly the paint seems a bit 'thicker' and this is attributed to an extra coat of primer that year.
good luck in your search, and i think you've made a great choice (i'm not biased or anything)

Algar Ferrari/Maserati in Bryn Mawr, PA used to have an F40 for sale. Its not listed in thier inventory anymore. I used to drive past it going to the orthodontist. I assume its gone now. Shame.
