A guy I know is looking to lease a 07 or 08 997 Carrera S. We're planning on having him lease the car for 2 or 3 years, then instead of returning to the dealer, he will buy it, then sell to me. (I hear that the buyout price is based on the amount he has put down). Does anyone have any details on how Porsche handles their lease programs? How do you find out the buyout price on a vehicle? Is is a good deal to buyout?

Bottom Line - It seems like if Porsche were to get the car back from a leaser, they would surely re-sell for more than the buyout...
