Default Do most eBay bids come in towards the end?

It's my first time selling a car (my 944) on eBay... Should I be nervous that there's 3 days left and it's only at $805? I was hoping to get at least $1000 more than that... Maybe I'll set a reserve next time...

I only bid in the last 30 minutes of an auction if I really want something... Everything I sell gets hit in the last 30-60 minutes usually. You should be able to see how many people are watching your item. That makes a big difference...If that number is high, you will be fine.

I've sold a large number of things on eBay and you can't determine the selling price until the final bell rings -- all the activity is in the final moments.

I think the milkshake could be the oil cooler seals.

Couldn't you cancel the auction and relist it with a higher reserve? I've seen lots of auctions yanked because the seller found somebody to buy the car locally.

I only bid i the last few minutes. Keeps others from trumping my bid and running the price up. I just use the watching function of an item I'm interested in until then.

I've bought two cars, and sold two cars on ebay. All the action is in the last few minutes...

of course, your auction is long over by now... what was your experience? did you get 2 grand??
