Porsche advertising history
Maybe someone can steer me (my wife) in the right direction...... She's doing a homework assignment in advertising and needs a source (sources) on past porrsche advertising strategies/ campaigns..... Any help will be much appreciated! Thanks!

If you go back to The Beginning, it was successful racing campaigns that were the Porsche advertising - Carrera Panamerica, etc. Also, don't forget the "we created a race car so you could enjoy your drive to work", etc.
I've got tons of old car mags from the 50s and 60s (and 70s and 80s too) with all sorts of P car advertising... if you can, see if you can get a few of the more recent 356 Registry magazines - there is a column on old literature, and advertising/dealer brochures show up every so often in it.

type in porsche on their search bar - a few tidbits available on specific ad's. Have you tried calling PCNA Marketing or PR department?

Good luck with the assignment...my personal favorite Porsche ad slogan: "There is no substitute. Porsche." The best ones are always simple and evocative.
