Repair at Dealer?
I need to have the immobilizer checked on my '96 C4. Sometimes it just won't start, and sometimes it will.
Do you recommend going to a dealer for this type of service? If not, any recommendations near Hartford CT.

If your starter is easy to get at just pull it and take it to pretty much any shop to have it looked at. I honestly know nothing about you rear engined air-cooler guys though. You'll probably have better luck posting this question on the 993 board. If this is a common problem there might be an easy fix and they'd be better able to help you on that board.
