Default Can someone recommend some good shops in Sarasota / Bradenton FL

I am relocating to Sarasota / Bradenton FL and wanted to see if anyone could recommend a good shop or tuner in the area. I would travel as far as Tampa or Orlando if a shop comes highly recommended.
Any referrals would be greatly appreciated.

Cool

You have several excellent choices of shops with superb mechanics with mucho experience with Porsches and Porsche race cars.

My 2 recommendations:

1) European Performance/Kramer Motorsports
930 4th Avenue North
St. Petersburg
(727) 823-4685

Many of us just got back from Sebring tonight with cars prepped there. They build/maintain about 26 race/DE cars. Stuttgart factory-trained mechanics. About 45 minutes from Sarasota

2) Dave White Autosports and Racing
5217 W. Hillsborough Avenue
Tampa
(813) 874-1911

The popular choice for many guys in Tampa. Dave is a long-time Porsche racer and PCA member.

Suncoast Porsche in Sarasota is an active PCA Porsche dealership with a motorsports department Can't speak to their services from personal experience.
5005 S. Tamiami Trail
Sarasota
(941) 923-1700

Hope this helps!
Regards, Doug

Hey Vinny!

My website is groups.msn.com/porschelovers--pca. Over 500 pix. Someplace among them are pix of European Performance.

Feel free to e-mail me at dmw44@hotmail.com.

BTW--Suncoast Region PCA is terrific. Over 1,000 members (just won the national award for most new members) with many different types of activities.

Regards, Doug

Vinny,
Also check out German Tech in Largo between St. Petersburg and Clearwater. Everytime I drive by the place they have some nice P-cars sitting out there. I think the guy you want to ask for is Bruce. My friend gets parts for his 996TT there and has nothing but good things to say about them. They are a TechArt dealer as well Website is www.germantech.com
German Tech, Inc.
10881 75th Street North
Largo, FL 33777
(727) 547-0818
(800) 200-1231

Good Luck,
Lou

Hey Aerosmith!
European Performance is top-notch and located near downtown St. Pete. They take care of all 3 of my P-cars. I'll be glad to meet you and show you around their shop as well as introduce you around if you are interested. All of their people are super experts, meticulous, and most importantly, HIGHLY ethical.
You can reach me at dmw44@hotmail.com or call at 527-5988 in St. Pete if you so desire.
Regards, Doug
