Default Need recommendation: SF Peninsula Paint Shop

Detailing is not restoring the luster of my '97 993 Cab's paint. It's a daily
driver and no garage queen so the paint just hasn't held up. Most people
don't notice but I do.

I'd like to get a complete repaint. Can anyone recommend a good paint
shop that does great work at "reasonable" prices? Especially someone who
has direct experience (I had my car painted there, my friend had his/her
Porsche, Mercedes, BMW painted there).

I tried Yahoo! Local but didn't find any user recommendations.

Preferences are shops between Santa Clara and Redwood City.

Thanks.

Default paint shop in south bay

I have used B-line in San Jose a few times and they did very good work. They specialize in BMW's but I have used them on other cars. However, I have never done a full car.

At the very least they might be able to direct you toward Porcshe specialist.

Cars done:

Rear 2000 BMW 528
Rear 1996 BMW 535
Rear 2000 BMW 740
Side 2000 VW Jetta
Rear 2001 Jag

Yes I am a accident magnet

Good luck and let us know who you choose.

Thanks for taking the time to reply.

Mathews-Carlsen where I've had minor body repair done (check strap fix) doesn't do full body repaints but they recommended Independence Auto Body in Mountain View, CA.

I haven't had a chance to check them out yet.
