Default Is there a group therapy thread for missing your Porsche?

So the 911.1 is sold and I just realized after less than 24h that’s this is the very first time in 25 years that I don’t have a 911 in the garage. It feels suddenly weird and I feel almost as bad as when I lost my Cobra in fire.

How do you cope with that s**** ?!

This. Bring your checkbook. Things will work themselves out from that point.

The only solution is to buy another and then convince yourself the only way you could get the newer one was by first selling the old one.

You will always regret selling it.

I had a BMW E30 325es that I sold 15 years ago. I had to sell it because I moved and had no place to park it. Sold it for cheap to a co-worker. I had done a lot of restoration. I have since bought 4 newer BMWs and I have all of them. I don't sell my cars anymore. My other cars are better than the E30 but I still regret selling it.

I feel your pain, I gave up my GTS as trade in 4 months before I got delivery of my TTS and even that was painful to go without for a few months.

Reading forums threads and watching YouTube videos about my incoming car did help.

Last year I gave up my new CS because I happen to get lucky with a new TTS after someone canceled. I was supposed to wait a month but it ended up taking 3 months longer. Worst part it was over the summer. Now i happen to get a slot to order a new .1 Targa 4 GTS MT delivery end of Sept. I wasn't expecting to find a buyer so soon for my TTS. Next week the buyer takes possession. So again part of the summer no Porsche.
