997 GT3 vs 991 Targa 3.8 Manual

997 GT3 vs 991 Targa 3.8 Manual
Hello all,
I've been driving my 997.1 3.8 manual for the last 7yrs now. It's been lovely car and for a while, served as my people mover for my small family. Recently I got a proper people mover so I'm thinking of upgrading. I intend to stay w/ the manual gearbox AND with limited resources, I'm left w/ two upgrade options:
A: similar vintage or slightly newer 997.1 GT3 or GT3 RS if I'm really lucky
Pro 1: still very much largely analog without much electronic driving aids
Pro 2: I'm VERY familiar w/ the cockpit
Pro 3: I kinda prefer the styling of it over 991
Con 1: Too familiar that I don't get the thrill of a new car
Con 2: I'm loosing the backseat although I rarely need it
B: newer 991.1 Target 3.8 manual (No I do NOT like the 991.2 turbo engine!)
Pro 1: I REALLY dig the styling and the cool mechanics of the targa roof
Pro 2: Thrill of a new car
Con 1: almost impossible to find at my neck of the wood
Con 2: Feel very electronic...
So here I'm seeking the advice from all the wisdom here. I have a hunch that the majority of the purists here would suggest A but let's hear it!

They're all great cars. Drive both / all of them. Buy whichever you like more. It really is that simple.
