Have to imagine there's a better way to do that. That loses wattage converting DC from the batteries into AC for the maintainer, then back into DC to the vehicle battery. Added heat, too.

If I was going to use that I'd add a 12v socket up in the frunk, but then you'd have to be careful not to keep it connected when the engine starts and the alternator starts trying to charge the battery.

But it'd beat having nothing! What'd you pay for it? Looks like there are Black Friday sales for $169.

I've never tried, but does the lighting in the typical garage deliver enough of the right kind of light to have a solar panel be able to work?

How long will that keep the CTEK going?

About 5-6 hours on a half charged battery with a River 2 Max which is enough to mostly top it off. Not sure how long on maintenance mode yet.

So Ecoflow actually does have a direct 12v car battery maintainer/charger but it's been out of stock for a while.
