Default Thoughts on attending Rennsport Reunion 7 alone?

Hello all.

I am thinking about attending RR for the first time and I will be flying solo.

I am questioning if I should attend at all and if I would be bored out of my mind since I will be alone.

I would uber there (1 hour) and back each day or have to find public parking somewhere nearby.

Any advice?

Do you like racing and Porsches? If the answer to one or both of those are yes I don't see how you would be bored. There is plenty of free parking at the track if you rent a car but it will include a bit of a walk. If you are friendly you might make some friends, there will be an expected 80k like-minded Porsche fans in the area that weekend.

Coupla Cajuns making their first Rennsport event with a rental car. How far is "a bit of a walk"?

General public parking should be in the purple area, so figure 10-20 minute walk depending on how far out (and how late you arrive). To the OP, you will be bored only if Porsche racing, history, famous people, checking out cars in the paddock, food and drink, vendor displays, walking around the track, and more Porsches in one place (and more unusual Porsches) than you have probably ever seen are boring.
