Looking at renting a 911 using Porsche Drive.

Are these vehicles limited electronically or detuned? Are they hard geofenced like golf carts on better golf courses? Do they have in-car monitoring or surveillance, e.g. cameras? Looking for full disclosure on any potential interventions in the experience or invasions of my privacy.

I rented a 911 GTS and took it on Tail of the Dragon with a lot of spirited driving. I don’t know if they tracked me but it was a fun weekend.

Thanks for the feedback. Did the car seem limited in performance (power)? Or did it respond and perform more or less as you expected?

No - it was a normal GTS. It was fun. I was surprised how easy it was. They were like your car is over there. He went over a few things about the functions and gave me his card and said see you Monday. I ended up buying a 991 which is plenty fast enough for me but recommend their rental program if you want to try out a 911 or anything else. I didnt know what model I was getting but was pleasantly surprised when he said it was a 2022 GTS coupe.
