Default Latest (official) electrification timeline for all Porsche

If I’m reading this correctly, there is no EV, or plug-in hybrid 911 planned for the remainder of this decade. All ICE for the 911. But time will change is this roadmap changes?

This just rules out a fully electric 911 until 2030, not hybrid or PHEV. I expect most non-GT 911s to be hybrid (not PHEV) much sooner, and PHEV can’t be far behind once emissions regulations make it a necessity and weight can be controlled.

We’ll see? Not sure if non-plugin hybrid will really help to significantly reduce carbon emissions…which is, the driver here.if they have a e-fuel loophole, I suspect that’s the opening Porsche will drive through?

Thanks. Some differences between the two articles.

But here is what I am not clear about - Does the agreement to use e-fuels for the 911, in the EU, does that mean that e-fuels will be required and readily available throughout the EU? Are the cars tuned specifically for the e-fuel?

It was my understanding, from a 60 Minutes segment, that e-fuels are in limited supply and costly.

Currently yes. But synthetic fuel costs like many new innovations will come down in cost and be more readily available after time. We just don't know how much yet.
