Default Mission X: Next hypercar prelude

It's finally taking shape gentlemen.
It appears to be the first official preview of the 918 successor.

This should make all the Porsche EV deniers realize that Porsche is all-in on electrification.

I have no problem with change, and I have no problem with EVs (although personally I'd like better infrastructure and a bit more maturity before going there myself)

However...

I just feel that this car isn't very Porsche-like. Sure, it's sort of a modernization of the 906 in some ways, but that car was wonderfully curvy in typical Porsche fashion and this just looks sorta generic to me. I don't love the headlights (I think something incorporating circles would work better and be more on-brand). I think the interior is WAY too motorsport-y and doesn't really match up to the luxury vibe that they're saying it has. It's too technical-looking to feel luxurious, really.

I dunno...both the Carrera GT and 918 had an immediate wow factor and both looked distinctly like a Porsche. Without the badges on this car, I doubt anybody would guess it came from them.

Did the 918 really look that porsche-like other than the headllights? This one has the 911 front hood to make it similarly porsche-like. Other than that they seem similarly unique. Waiting for the first road test...

Yeah, I think the whole front view of the 918 is very much on-brand. This is a complete departure. And one that I hope doesn't indicate their future design language.
