Default What were your previous sport/fun cars?

Excuse me if this is already a thread, I looked and didn’t see one.

It would be interesting to see what everyone else has had prior to there current P car. I know it’s been an interesting road for me over the past year before I got my 991.

post some specs and photos!

Sport & fun cars: MGA, Land Rover, VW & P cars. We can’t count the multiple roommates multiple cars. They were not fun. One, the mother of my children, God bless her, had five accidents in the eighteen years we were together. You ready? All in reverse. Not fun. It’s a great story, but to long to share hee :-)

Mazda MX-5 NA (first gen) Miata: super fun car

Jaguar XJ-6 Series III: beautiful car but all the stories about British (un)reliability are true, 4.2L fuel injected inline 6. In 4 years of ownership it was roadworthy 12 non-consecutive months.

Ford PHN131 F-250 SuperDuty 6.0 PowerStroke: on the list because of the fun cross-country family trips we made in this rig, 6.0 VGT DI V8 diesel, ZF 6-speed manual with granny first gear.

9Y0 Cayenne S: awesome car, loving it, 2.9TT V6. Early in the relationship and so far so good.

Jeep Wrangler (fun to cruise around in, but not sporty), GMC Typhoon, Roush Mustang, Lotus Elise, and a 400hp sandrail that my dad owned but I drove more than him.

They sounded that way until 2020 or so, when Jag dumbed down the exhaust. Both mine were original exhaustsound. Obviously you've had some great looking cars.

Not sure I would call a Honda S800 good looking, but twin-cam, roller bearing crank, 100HP/L, and 10,000 rpm made up for that!

I was always into the muscle cars, I restored two of them. This is my first Porsche, 2014 911S
