Default Complete car wrap

Anyone ever have their car wrapped in clear. Is this even a thing? About to have a Porsche specialist paint my 05 997 Cab. Too many rock chips and scratches to try to touch it all up. I’m considering having the entire car wrapped in clear after the paint is done. Good thing or not so good thing?.

Xpel is a big name in PPF (clear wrap paint protectoin), if you want to google for a local installer.
