Try ferrarichat.com if you haven't already, lots of folks there who own/have owned both. I've owned a '99 360 and a CS and had no problems at all, but any problem can be expensive.

Having been involved with both marques for some time, I do not want to sway towards one or the other, however in general, maintenance on a Ferrari will tend to be significantly higher over the long run than on a Porsche. This is due primarily to the $3-5K services required on the Ferrari on a more frequent basis, and the fact that if something does go wrong, you are guaranteed a more expensive bill. Initially, both cars should be trouble free. That said, even for me, there's nothing quite like the sound and feel of a Ferrari, so it would be up to you to determine how much that's worth.
