With $100000 I wouldn’t buy a 911, I’d buy a 718 Spyder or GT4. In fact that’s exactly what I did (see my sig)
I am being serious, either one of these is a viable alternative to a 991.1 or 911.2. I shopped them both and being able to buy a brand new GT group product was just too much to pass up.

And that's really the question. What will you use it for?

I've been trying to fulfill the void that was left by my idiot move to trade my 911. The girlfriend wants me to buy a Vette, (sweet girl but she is white-trash fr) but I don't want to be "that old guy in the Corvette." When I asked her how she would deal with being the younger woman in the passenger seat she said, "Wrong seat!" Perhaps I should be shopping for a one seater. I had it narrowed down to a Macan Turbo > S, but now that you all have me looking at 993-997's

I could not spend 100k on a toy, I just wouldn’t feel right about it. I’m not a practical person but I keep going back to that one can get a hell of a car for 10-40k. Now if I was a track guy, that would be different. It becomes more of a tool.
If a gun was stuck to my head, probably a 996 GT3. If I could get change, that would change though. 🤔

I'm watching the market and looking to make a move in the coming months. First Porsche, budget around what you called out, and shortlisted the GT4 and 991.2 C2S.
Use:
- The 'fun' car, to be driven because I want to instead of having to... The Land Cruiser is the 'do it all'.
- I do about 6-8 trackdays a year give or take. (RA, AMP, Barber)
- Have a little girl that I adore bringing on relaxing drives
All of the above leans me to the GT4, but the last point makes me question whether the C2S will be a better choice. Either way, hope I'm not revisiting this thread later in the year with a 'wish I'd gone with...'

that's exactly what i did after i opted for a 6.2 GT3 over a 964 in my previous decision (i was seduced by the hp on that one). who knows where this market will eventually go, but i have the models that really speak to me.
