Hi all,
On August 12, my 2018 15k mile Cayman stalled on the highway and spontaneously caught on fire. Had my seatbelt jammed, I would’ve burned to a crisp in less than 15 minutes!
On August 17, I FedEx’d a letter to the Porsche USA CEO asking for a discount for a replacement P-car. A month later a customer service rep said Porsche would consider a $2,500 voucher. A week after that, Porsche said no to a discount or investigation into the fire. I may understand no discount, but I was shocked with Porsche’s refusal to investigate the fire. The arrogance, especially when safety is involved, upset me.
I’d appreciate any thoughts.
