Artist Imagines Next-Gen Porsche as Cyber 677
By Brett Foote

Highly detailed renderings show us what the 911 might look like in the distant future.

I like some of the shapes and find it Interesting in some areas, but somehow the current group of designers are far too fixated on the F-15/16 fighter jet look with all sorts of square scoops and grills that seem to be designed by a committee and bean counters. In fact, one of the things that I have always admired about the 356's, Spyders, and the 901's and 902's was a functional, elegant shape, enough greenhouse to see over the hood, and a simplistic interior that made driving the focus without having to take the eyes off the road to search for some switch that looks pretty ( as in this rendering ) but fails in functionality.

I like it and hope that it comes with true cupholders in the center console. I'm serious!
