Maryland and my Valentine One

Maryland and my Valentine One
Just drove through Maryland yesterday on I-95 and noticed a large number of troopers, some in unmarked Mustangs and Camaros. However, my Valentine One did not go off at all. Anyone from Maryland know if the troopers there are all exclusively using laser and/or 'instant on' radar?

My experience is all of the above. Radar (continuous and instant on) and laser. The Camaros and Mustangs are new additions as are some SUVs (I think they are Explorers). They will also pace you. The cars in question have some extra antennas but otherwise are somewhat hard to spot in your rear view mirror....

Here in Maine a friend of mine was pulled over but wasn't caught on radar he was caught by the eye in the sky. The Planes pick a spot and caculate the speed at which one travels by how fast they reach a mile. Then the cop is radioed in and told which car to pull over. Can't beat the eye in the sky.

Usually measured on the ground but you are on the right track. Time from point A to point B as far as I understand.

I've seen them stand right in the median and shoot the laser. The problem is if your V1 goes off you're already toast. I stopped using mine after I got a ticket with it on.
Best thing is to just stay out of the left lanes and try not to go 10mph over. Hate to say that, but I guess you have to save the speed for the track.
