Anyone imported a Porsche in from Canada?
I'm in rural Montana, my nearest dealers are Spokane 350 miles, Calgary AB 350 miles or Boise ID 600 miles.
I'm looking for a 2018 or 2019 Cayman base or S. Not having much luck finding anything within a thousand miles. Especially without
$10K of options I would never order.
DID find a nice base car in Calgary a 2018 with 1300 miles, full list of options and a color/interior I really like. It's $59,700 US with todays exchange rate. Thats their asking, no dealing yet.
import fee is 2.5% so add an additional $1500. The rest of the hoops I'd need to jump through seem fairly easy. I'm no stranger to bureaucracy either.
Any one done this before? Any input at all appreciated.
UPDATE.....Disregard......imported one from The Peoples Republic of California.
