A Porsche dealer 500 miles from me has a 2018 4S with an MSRP of about $130,000 (options I would want). The car has 4500 miles. I'm told it was a dealer loaner, so the warranty period has not started. It is CPO, so 2 more years of warranty on top of that. What should I be willing to pay for this car? I have heard (on this forum) of pretty substantial discounts on new 2018 Panameras. Should I try to negotiate a price over the phone? If I drive to see it, I suppose my negotiating position will not be strong, as I would already has invested a day of driving and would have another day ahead of me to get home. The dealership has shown no willingness to accept a refundable deposit (I know it's not much of a deposit if it is refundable, but in my state all such deposits are refundable anyway). I would like to know what I'm going to have to pay before I make the trip and to know it will be available when I get there. How should I proceed and what price should I pay?

Do you have a link to the car? What are they asking? It seems to be the warranty would have been "punched" already but if they are telling you it has not I would still verify it - how can you get CPO on a new car? And you would get more action if you posted this in the 991 Forum.
