Question Need advice on purchase

I'm considering the purchase of a 2013 C2S with a little less than 16K miles. I brought it in for a PPI and everything checked out fine except the following:

1) The battery was weak - dealer agreed to replace it.
2) Mechanic found dead mice and a nest in the battery compartment

Other than that, the car is really clean and looks almost new. The carfax lists it as a single owner, and it appears to have been serviced regularly.

The dead mice has me worried about potential "hidden" issues, but the mechanic said it's a common thing and found no other damage.

Would you guys go for it or pass on it

I personally wouldn't be too concerned. I've had a mice nest in my LX570 and it didn't do any damage. I also had one in another car, but I forget which one. I do know it also didn't do any damage (I know because if it did, I would definitely remember which car). If you are concerned, have the dealer check the car for any shorted grounds, which would be caused by mice eating the wiring.

I f you like the car buy it since those are non-issues to me. Keep in mind there is a 991 Forum, which has a lot of useful information.

Thanks Bob. I'll move this thread over to the 991 forum.
