Deposits are exactly that. Many of those will back out imo. I was super excited about this car; not anymore. It's just not that impressive in any way other than the styling and the badge. I'd take the Tesla model S with far more range for 1/2 the price...

I don't think that too many buyers will be turned off by some of the performance specs. The build quality and dealer network will likely prove the deciding factor for a lot of buyers. Also, Teslas don't feel like luxury products inside, even through they're priced in that bracket.
