A real one is sadly out of my budget, and while I don't much like replicas, I've always thought if the right Speedster rep came along, I'd jump at it. I'd drive the wheels off one, and not worry about it too much. Be a perfect summer ride!

I thought about getting one but I will not pay over MSRP and I love my customized Targa GTS; however, if someone hears of a dealer selling at sticker please PM me.

Love the simple speedster
The design was so clean and so simple, not a lot of power, but not a lot of weight. I wish porsche made something that was as simple as possible. I know buying a used boxster would give me a lot of fun per dollar.. bearing and engine issues, rear main seal , interior parts that fail and look worse than any old corolla or civic.. its all part of the give and take.
The speedster was awesome and cheap at the time.. not even roll down windows.. no power top needed... of course fuel injection is great.. and sway bars ... and poly bushings and fluid filled motor mounts.. so modern stuff can be quite desireable ...
Its just so great to look in an engine bay and not see 60 pounds of wiring and sensors..

I forgot to say that I would get the Red model, which is actually about $25k less than the one pictured above.
