Default 2006 Base Carrera Value (less than 100 miles)

I have a friend who has the opportunity to purchase a 2006 Base Carrera with less than 100 original miles. He owned a European sales/service dealership for over 40 years, so he knows all about these cars including the potential IMS bearing issue. He said the car is brand new, and includes an aftermarket exhaust, brembo brakes, and wheels. Why someone would make those upgrades and not drive the car is beyond me. Anyway, do you guys have any thoughts on what a far range of value would be for a car like this??? I figured you guys would have some insight on this one. Any help here would be great!

100 miles! That poor thing! I hope it is a cool Build if it is I think it could be a 60k plus probably a lot more if you just hung on to it for another 10 years (that's what I would do).

Obviously I would have a very thorough PPI done on the car. Seems really odd that it would sit without being driven since it's not really a car you'd consider a collector. Was this car just used for display somewhere? I guess I would also be worried that the previous owner would get in it and just rev the engine to hear the exhaust and not drive it. If it were me I'd probably be right in the 55-60k range as far as what I'd pay for it.

I'd rather own a 100k 06 Carrera than that 100 mile car. Sitting kills a car more so than driving.

Hammer.time: I really don't know the history other than that it's a very well-off older gentleman who has lots of cars, and this particular one is one of several that he keeps at a vacation home.

DAVfoto: I completely agree. A 13 yr old car with less than 100 miles would scare me!

Thanks guys!
Phil

It is not that special of a car (yet) to be worth a premium but if you can get it for nice price it may be worth it albeit I would have a PPI for sure.
