We carry a fire extinguisher in each car and a couple in our house. I went to buy a couple new ones today. The sales person told me that Kidde had had a major recall. I call Kidde (855-271-0773) and found out that all of our fire extinguishers had been recalled. They are shipping replacement to us. Suggest everyone check your FE's and see if they are in the recall. You can also go to www.cpsc.gov under Kidde Fire Extinguishers and see if you have a model being recalled.

Did that last year, and replaced most of the extinguishers in the house and garage. Kidde acted very professional and the whole exchange was easy.
