Women 911 Owners Thread
Wanted to start a thread for ladies who own, love and drive 911s. I searched the forums and could not find any threads about women and their cars. So I'm starting one here. Roll call for women who own 911s! I have a 2009 911S Manual.

Give em some time but I don't know how many females are in this forum. You are the only one I know. Hi Holly! I got one of your stealthy bags. Use it all the time. Didn't you sell your 911?

Hey there
Now my daily driver is my 09 911S Manual that I picked up from Carlos, here on the Forum, out of Florida earlier this year.
Glad to hear you like the stealthy bags. Those are kind of fun to make because I know they are definitely going to good use. cargo capacity and Porsche 911 are never used in the same sentence hahaha. Thanks for checking in on me take care!
Holly

Hi Ladies,
I don’t currently own a 911, but I have in the past. I bought a 1995 993 and my husband saw it for the first time when we met the seller to complete the transaction and transfer ownership. We also owned a 992 coupe for a short time, and a 991.1 GT3RS.
I’m more of a “mid-engine girl” and don’t always frequent the 911 forums. My first Porsche, bought 10 years ago was a used Cayman R in Peridot green. Loved that car, but sold it for the 2016 GT4 built to my spec. Sold that for the 718 GT4 I was able to build in PTS Slate Grey which is my current love. We also have a Cayenne and Macan GTS. Both were hubby’s pick as I prefer smaller vehicles although they are very nice (I’m not complaining)!
I was a serious track junkie for about 10 years although recently I’m doing less. I instructed at the track and my favorite students were always women! In general they are smooth and take instruction really well. In 2017 I joined the small team of PCA National DE Instructor trainers, and I have traveled to deliver the instructor training program to various regions. It’s been a lot of fun and recently I’ve worked with two team members to completely re-write and update the PCA National DE Instructor Training Program. It’s been a lot of work and a lot of fun. I really enjoy my counterparts, one of whom is a woman and experienced instructor, and track driver for many years.
I’ve gotten to know some wonderful women, and made great friendships over the years (with men and women) all because we share this passion for cars (and in some cases, a passion for the track).
It’s great to see a couple other female enthusiasts here and I wish I’d found this thread sooner.
Holly thanks for starting the thread, and happy birthday Rebecca! That’s a heck of a birthday present!. I love that color scheme. Our 992 was silver over Bordeaux leather.
Delivery day for the GT4 next to our 993 (Polar Silver over Chestnut leather with rear seat delete)
.
First GT4 shown at Summit Point with RTR. Agate Grey metallic which looks particularly fetching in this light.
Picking up from service. The late day sun lit up the paint and it was glowing! It’s the only car I’ve regretted selling…. It was a great spec: LWB, manual, an radio, and a few more options. It was the “Goldilocks” car.
