Has the 928’s time finally come, or is this a time capsule car?

Beautiful car and it is unlikely that there is a lower mile GTS existent.
Fun to watch this one...

As a potential bidder for this car I have observed a few items that give me pause that this will represent the 928 GTS market... Could a few photos have gotten mixed up?
RM inspects and makes sure that only investment grade cars are auctioned so... There must be some error here?
Please follow and comment on my observations:
1. Hood alignment looks off left to right and is uneven.
2. Missing jump post cover and apparent corrosion on valve cover bolt.
3. Crust on the shock tower bolts, and are those fisheyes in the paint on the inner fender?.
4. How on earth did the brake rotors and backing plate end up looking like a car that has been driven in the salt?
Potential bidders want to know the full story on this car. Since it is from Texas, was it a flood vehicle?
Did Sotheby's post the right photos?
