Good options here. Worth mentioning, and most do not know this but the majority of the batteries sold branded vw/audi are actually provided to VW/Audi USA by Interstate under license. While both being Interstate, the VAG branded units do not carry as robust a warranty. We have used Interstate units exclusively. Good base warranty and the extended prorated portion is fair, plus there's an Interstate dealer in nearly every city and town in the nation so finding a replacement is easy. As far as programming for battery replacement this is really only applicable 981/991 on. Even those models can be programmed without using the Genuine Porsche battery. The PIWIS 3 recognizes several battery variants in the coding procedure. Provide the base specs and battery type (wet/agm) are the same or better than factory replacement it will be accepted.
