I want a somewhat new Porsche 911, 2005 or newer, and am a fairly frugal person. I am fine with the smallest engine, would not like a convertible, and want a soft ride. I plan to keep the car for several years so more importantly than the monthly payment is the overall cost of ownership and depreciation.

what would you suggest for someone who wants a softer ride. I understand that getting it on 18's softens the ride. What year and specific model will be the most economical?
