8. Make room.
That can be space in the shop or on top of the bench to work without bumping into things. Or it can mean removing components that block or obscure access to the target piece.

Most imporant rule is to have a spare car so you can drive to the parts store.

Well, if you have a great amount of money, then this is a great advice. Otherwise, just buy a brand new car. LOL
